Founded in 1833, First United Methodist Church has been a heart of worship in Mocksville and Davie County for nearly 200 years. We are a congregation steeped in rich history, looking toward the future with faith. Worship
Casual/Contemporary Service
Join us at 8:45am on Sunday Mornings for our early worship service in the Family Life Center! This service features a more relaxed and casual atmosphere with contemporary music.
Traditional Service
Join us at 10:55am on Sunday Mornings for our Traditional Service!! This service features more traditional liturgy and hymns in our historic Sanctuary.
Sunday School
9:45am
We have a number of adult, youth, and children's Sunday School opportunities for all ages across our campus at 9:45am each Sunday morning, between the two services!
NOTE: During the Summer (June-August) we come together for one combined Worship Service at 10:30am, with Sunday School at 9:30am.

Community Prayer
Mondays at 5:30pm
Each Monday night, we hold community prayer in the green space next to the Family Life Center. Join us for a time of reflection, petition, and community as we pray for our town, our county, our country, and our world together.
Youth Ministry
Sundays at 4:00pm
Youth are vital members of the Body of Christ, and are an important ministry at First UMC! Join Pastor Stephen and friends at 4pm on Sundays for a time of Fellowship, Study, and Fun! Check out the Ministries Page for more info.
LOCATION
First UMC is located at 310 N Main Street, Mocksville, NC 27028. We are split by N Main, with the offices and Family Life Center being located just across from the Sanctuary, Fellowship Hall, and Preschool. We also have a large green space next to the family life center where we hold Community Prayer services.
